Funny Bugs

This book lives up to it’s name, it had me laughing a few times and I’m not even it’s target audience. Designed for ages 6+ this nonfiction picture book tells you all about bugs funny adaptations. Learn how some bugs hunt, find mates, camouflage and more.

The illustrations are so cute and contain lots of jokes for the reader. They are perfect jokes for children. As you can see from the spread below, it’s a fun read.

A book review of Funny Bugs: Nature's Most Hilarious Adaptations by Paul Mason and Tony De Saulles

Bugs are by nature very odd and there are SO many types of them and they are all different. This book can’t teach about them all but should definitely satisfy the bug curious child or even better, encourage them to learn more.

This would make a fun any reason read but would also be perfect for a teacher or homeschool parent to use to teach about bugs. There is another book in the series called Funny Beasts that I’m sure is just as amazing.
