Silly Faces: See Me on the Farm (board book)
Stars: ****
It’s a mirror book, which means you read, then hold the book up in front of your (or your child’s) face and look in mirror and it’s a farm animal with your face. Really cute and kids love it.

Rolling Along with Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Cindy Meyers (3-5)
Stars: *****

This is an AWESOME book. It’s the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears but baby bear is in a wheelchair and the house has ramps, special chairs and a special bed. What a great idea! A great book if your kid is in a wheelchair or to raise awareness of wheelchair use.

The Girl Who Hated Books by Manjusha Pawagi
Stars: ****

In this story, the parents obsessively buy books. The daughter Meena hates books because they are always in the way, stacked all over the house. Then one day her cat gets stuck on a pile of books. Meena tries to rescue her and falls, knocking all the books over and all kinds of animals and creatures come out of the books. How will she ever get them back?

This is a story of a girl who learns to love books and would be a great story to read your child if they are reluctant to “read.”
