These are great stories that illustrates what some Grandparents do and what all Grandparents do.
For example: Some Grandpas live with a Grandma. All Grandpas like to make you laugh.
The pictures are colourful, bright and contrasting as are all of Todd Parr’s books. My toddler loves the book. In the Grandpa Book, there is also a spot on the inside of the back cover to put a picture of your child’s Grandpa. I love how it shows diversity.
There are other Grandparent books out there that show something specific like say an old grey haired grandma that rocks in a rocking chair. Well my child’s grandma doesn’t look like that. With these books, it doesn’t matter because each Grandparent looks different.
These books are perfect for a Grandparent to read to his/her Grandchild.
