Summary: A full-colour, kid-friendly guide to understanding stress and anxiety and managing them in healthy and productive ways.

Kids and parents know that taking care of our mental health and managing stress and anxiety are critical skills for people of all ages and from all walks of life.

Filled with practical advice and strategies, So Long, Stress! helps readers understand what stress is and gives them the tools they need to face situations that cause anxiety ― all in an approachable and down-to-earth tone.

So Long Stress!

This book is perfect for the child aged 8-12 or so who has excess stress in his or her life. A child could read it on their own or better yet, with an adult. We will be using it for our Social Emotional Learning class in homeschool.

The book is full colour which makes it fun to read. Part 1 tells us why we need stress for survival and how much stress is too much. Part 2 is about habits to prevent and combat stress. Part 3 goes more in depth into your social and emotional life and gives strategies. Part 4 is about what to do when you find yourself in a moment of a stressful situation. Part 5 has tips on how to get help when you need it.

There are mindfulness and calming exercises to try in the book so you can be actively learning what to do instead of just reading about it.

The colourful book and it’s fun format make this a great book for kids.
