Beastly Biomes
Are you looking for a way to teach about biomes? This cute picture book has beautiful colour illustrations that take up most of the page. The book teaches ages 7-11 about the different biomes in the world such as aquatic, deserts, wetlands and so on.
It shares what a biome is first, and then names the different kinds. Then each biome is looked at and some of the animals that live in that biome are shown and named along with a very short sentence about them.
Different types of each biome are shown too. For example in the Marine/Aquatic one there are different pages for salt water or fresh water aquatic biomes. This would make a good resource for those learning about biomes.
