Perimenopause

I stumbled upon this book for free but it was perfect timing. I just turned 40. The book explains first and foremost the difference between perimenopause and menopause. This is an important distinction. Another important point is made later, that perimenopause is NOT an illness. Even if a doctor confirms you are going through it, it’s not a diagnosis. It’s all completely normal.

I know some things about perimenopause already but I still learned some things from this book. There are more symptoms than just weird periods, irritability, hot flashes and night sweats. Those are the only ones you hear about.

Of course the book doesn’t just go over symptoms. It also discusses various possible treatments and their pros and cons. Natural remedies are discussed as well. This is a good starter resources for those approaching perimenopause.
