AI Club Series
The AI Club offers courses and summer camps for kids and teens about Artificial Intelligence. They created this series of books to help introduce AI basics to young readers. I would recommend an age of 5 and up to listen to the books and a reading level of Grade 2 to read it themselves. I recommend reading it WITH your child though so you can help explain or answer any questions.
As an adult, I don’t even fully understand AI so I found the books interesting. The only problem is the beginnings of the books are repetitive because they don’t want to assume the reader has read any of the other books in the series. So if you buy one or two, it’s fine. But if you buy the whole set, half the book is a basic intro to what AI is first.
Each book includes 4-5 activities for kids to do. These are very simple things like matching words, drawing something or answering a simple question. The activities are definitely better for ages 7+.
