Grandpa – Good News from the Good Feel Cornfield
This is a simple book with a heavily Christian slant. It isn’t edited perfectly but you know what, it didn’t matter. I loved reading the stories of Grandpa and all the smart things he said and did. Grandpa didn’t have book smarts, he couldn’t even read or do math. However he showed over and over again that not reading or doing math doesn’t mean not smart. He was very wise.
Everything is punctuated with bible verses that fit the story. It was nice actually to see the heavy slant to God. Many Christian books just mention God off handedly or quote one bible verse. This book steeps you in it.
It’s a short read at 86 pages but it’s just right in length. I would love to have met the author’s Grandpa and Grandma. The additional stories they could tell!
