The Raucous Royals is a children’s non-fiction book for kids who are interested in royalty. Have you heard any rumors about royalty? Have you heard that King George III once talked to a tree? What about that Emperor Napoleon Bonparte was short? Are these true?

This is a great book for finding out the truth or at least what is known of the truth for these and other claims about royalty. The information is presented in such a way that it’s fun to read, and not dry at all. There are all kinds of illustrations as well as some puzzles, speech bubbles and pretend notes to read. For example, to find out which of Henry VIII’s wives got her head chopped off with an ax, you can read the clues about each one and deide for yourself what you think. Then turn the page to find out if you were right. What about Queen Elizabeth’s Favorite Things? Which of the 11 listed are truly her favorites?

The Raucous Royals is a great book for kids and even adults who want to know the truth.
