Mailbox Monday – Dec. 8

Spread the love

So what came in my mailbox this week? I got 4 great review books plus some kid’s books from the Scholastic Book Order.

The kid’s books are:

If You Take a Mouse to the Movies by Laura Numeroff

and the 5 books of the Jillian Jiggs series. (Shh it’s a christmas gift for my daughter)

UPDATE: I forgot I received a copy of Lost and Found by Carolyn Parkhurst in the mail this week too. It was a contest win but looking back to see who I won it from, looks like I won it twice and didn’t even realize it. Since I already tossed out the packaging, I don’t know which person it’s from. But I won from BookLorn and So Many Precious Books, So Little Time.

Start Talking: A Girl’s Guide for You and Your Mom about Health, Sex or Whatever by Mary Jo Rapini & Janine Sherman

Just what it says. :)

The Change Your Life Challenge by Brook Noel

Sorry for the small pic, it’s all I could find of this version. Looks like an awesome book. Look for the review the second week of January.

Choosing to Be: Lessons in Living from a Feline Zen Master by Kat Tansey

Neat little book with lots of pics of cats and Zen Buddhism lessons.

Crafting Jewish by Rivky Koenig

A big book with crafts for all kinds of Jewish holidays from Purim to Hanukkah to Tu B’Shevat to Rosh Hashanah to Shavuot and more. Very cool.

See what other’s received.
