Scarecrow Finds a Friend by Blume J. Rifken

Stars: ****I received this book for review from the author. This is a children’s picture book about a Scarecrow and a Witch. It is a perfect fall/Thanksgiving/Halloween book for ages 6+.The basic storyline is that one year the Tally the Witch grants the Scarecrow a Halloween wish. The next year when he meets Tally, she needs his help. Her flying powers are weakened and Scarecrow thinks that if someone grants the Tally a wish, her powers may be restored. So together they hatch a plan and carry it out. It’s a really cute story and the illustrations are bright and eye catching and also very festive. It’s too long and involving for my 2 year old but I look forward to the day I can read it to her.Other Reviews:Breeni Books
