I almost NEVER read one book at a time. At different times of the day I’m in the mood for a different type of book. I usually have one book in the bathroom for bathroom reads and another on the couch for little snatches here and there. There’s often one in my bedroom too although currently it’s the same as my couch one because that’s where I’m sleeping.
I’ve read as many as 6 books at once. I have no trouble keeping them separate and they are usually completely unrelated. For example one pagan, one parenting, one fiction, one instructional etc….
