1. In your opinion, what is the best translation of a book to a movie?
Hmm. Holes was good, true to the book. All the Harry Potter movies so far have been good although there were a few things left out of number 4 that I think should have been included.
2. The worst?
Honestly I don’t think I’ve seen all that many movies made from books, or more likely I didn’t know they were from books. Can’t really think of a worst.
3. Had you read the book before seeing the movie, and did that make a difference?
In general, no matter which I’d “seen” first I still prefer the book because it always has more detail. With some hard to follow books I prefer the movie only because it can be easier to follow. However this is rare and right now I can’t think of an example.
