How Do Satellites Stay in Space?

This book and series is designed for ages 7-10 but even I learned new things with this book. This book is cute and very informative.

The book is very thorough for a nonfiction picture book. Included is what a satellite is, why we have them, how we communicate with them and they us, how they get into space, how they collect data, how they send it back to us, how they stay powered, how they don’t just float into each other, how they are fixed and all the jobs necessary to have satellites.

Most of the book is illustrated with cute pictures. However at the end when it’s describing the different jobs necessary, photos of real satellites and people who work on them are shown. The book also ends with a glossary.
