Disclosure: I received three workbooks to try out in exchange for an honest review. This post contains affiliate links.
Humble Math sells math workbooks for kids ages 6-15 although you could easily adjust for your learner. There are different kinds to teach different math concepts.
I chose 100 Days of Decimals, Percents & Fractions (Ages 10-14), 100 Days of Money, Fractions & Telling the Time (Ages 6-11) and 100 Days of Pre-Algebra Skills (Ages 11-15) to try out.
The books are sold through Amazon and are very affordable. They are pretty basic but sometimes that is just what you want. I don’t need all the frills. I just wanted some worksheets my kids could do during the summer to stop the learning loss. I also wanted some extra sheets if needed for the school year. If we learn a lesson and it’s not sticking, I’ll have extra material on hand to do extra practice.
The 100 Days of Money, Fractions & Telling the Time book comes in US or Canadian versions depending on which Amazon you order from. I was happy to see the Canadian version includes drawings of our paper money that look recognizable. However I had hoped the coins would be actual pictures of our coins and they aren’t. I guess that means it won’t become out of date though as the coins change.
An important note to make is that answers are included. I think this is very important. Even if you have the math ability to check work yourself, not everyone has the time, especially if you have many children.
