Even the blurb on the back of the book is written well. The part about a shocking discovery of how Sam was more troubled than anyone could have thought is what made me not able to stop reading. I really wanted to know what it was. All the way to that chapter that reveals the discovery, I was running ideas through my head trying to figure out what it could be. I was wrong. It’s much better when you can’t guess what happens next in a fiction novel but it doesn’t happen often in a memoir. What a shocker!
