Spread the love

Oops forgot to do this yesterday. Sorry everyone.

Check out what everyone else got in their mailbox this week at The Printed Page.

The Diving-Bell and the Butterfly by Jean-Dominique Bauby

I got this from Harper Collins.

It’s been made into a movie and although it’s small, seems to be a very interesting book. It was dictated by a guy who could only move one eyelid (no I don’t know how he did it.)

For Men Only and For Women Only by Shanuti Feldhahn
This is a double pack in honour of Valentine’s Day. The books aren’t new but being packaged together with a little guide is I believe. I reviewed the author’s For Parents Only in 2007.

I also received Life Against All Odds by Alfred Cave.

I can’t seem to find a picture of the book cover and I can’t find the email offer (which I normally keep and should have a pic of the cover.) So if anyone else has the email and/or photo, please send me a message! (see very top of sidebar for contact) The book is a biography of an African-American who went from nothing to everything (my words.)

About Kathleen

I've been a nonfiction lover for as long as I can remember. I love children's nonfiction as well and love to share my knowledge and the books I gained them from, with the world. I wish more people would give nonfiction a chance.
