Booking Through Thursday – Presents

Spread the love

Today’s Question:

What, if any, memorable or special book have you ever gotten as a present? Birthday or otherwise. What made it so notable? The person who gave it? The book itself? The “gift aura?””

Well my answer won’t be very interesting I’m afraid. The only book that really sticks out in my mind as getting for a present is a book on faeries that was made up like the “ology” books like dragonology. I don’t even know the correct title or author for the book and I gave it away to someone who likes faeries more than I so I can’t look it up. I remember it because it was so different from any book I’d normally get but it was interesting too. It was written like a scrapbook with flaps to open and things to touch. It was supposed to be like the author had seen faeries and this was a book about faeries, complete with faery dust at the end.

*If you think I’m spelling faeries wrong, I’m not. It’s another way to spell it, usually used when you believe faeries are real or use them magically
