Sept 27 – Oct 4, 2008 is Banned Books Week.
Banned Books Week is technically an American celebration as it’s hosted by the ALA but you can celebrate where ever you live!
Last year I held a mini-challenge and had a daily post during the week about banned books and other materials. I won’t be doing that again this year but if you want to see all the posts from last year, you can click here to see all the posts I’ve made on Banned Books Week (including this one.)
So what can you do to support Banned Books Week? Why read a banned book of course! Post on your blog your thoughts on banning books. Spread the word!
If you do read a banned book and review it or otherwise post about Banned Books Week on your blog or website, please leave me the url in the comments so I can link to you!
