I read this book for the Spirituality Challenge.

This is the first book of Kabbalah that actually made any sense to me. It’s truly an introduction. Every other book about this subject I’ve tried to read, I couldn’t even get a little bit into. This book is written for children and teens but is the best introduction I’ve ever seen for anyone.
The book does not teach you Kabbalah, either to use with your life or just as information. Instead it describes what Kabbalah is all about using examples and comparisons that are easy for an older child or teen to understand.
