This book was read for the Hometown Challenge a few months back.

This is the story of a Japanese man’s beautiful garden that he spends lots of time one. It’s WWII and Japanese are being relocated to camps. A girl takes care of the Garden unti house is sold and then plants two irises in her own garden in honor of Mr. Hiroshi.

It’s a sweet story of a girl who wants to help her neighbour preserve his garden.
