I kind of enjoyed Shakespeare in highschool but I was put off of it because of all the studying and essay writing we had to do. I’d like to read about Shakespeare on my own time. So from Jan 1 – June 30/08 I need to read 4 books either BY Shakespeare or ABOUT Shakespeare.
1. Stories from Shakespeare by Marchette Chute – Didn’t Finish
2. The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare – Didn’t Finish
2. The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare – Didn’t Finish
3. William Shakespeare by Dorothy Turner – DONE, review here.
4. Shakespeare: His Work and World by Michael Rosen – DONE, review here.
UPDATE: Well I didn’t get this challenge finished but I’m glad I read the two books I did. Thanks for hosting the challenge Historia.
