This is the first in the large series by Evanovich starring the Character Stephanie Plum.
If you don’t know the storyline, Stephanie desperately needs a job and convinces her cousin Vinnie to give her a job as a Recorvery Agent which means she brings in criminals who have skipped their bail hearing. She manages to start out with catching a guy who was arrested for murder and who she also knows personally. Is this something she can handle or is this job just too much for Stephanie? She’s not giving up, she needs the money!
I really enjoyed this book, it was nice to have a new storyline, one I hadn’t heard before and it was amusing reading about little Stephanie Plum trying to bring in criminals. I was laughing out loud in a few places and felt genuinely scared in others. I can’t wait to read the next one.
